You will be confused if you skip them-so don’t! Or, at the very least, read my recaps or check out this Season 1/2/Boba Fett episodes recap. All three serve as bridge episodes between seasons. 5 and 6 are effectively Mandalorian episodes while 7 still has some important stuff. In any case, these are the three episodes you should watch before hopping into The Mandalorian Season 3. Though even here, I feel like some strange creative decisions were made. Basically, the two shows collide in the season finale, and all the weaknesses of the actual Book Of Boba Fett are so glaring compared to the strengths of papa Mando and baby Yoda. You could probably fast-forward to that scene and be okay. I had very mixed feelings about the Boba Fett finale, which I mostly didn’t like but which had at least one scene with Baby Yoda that is kind of a must.
